Carol was a friend and sorority sister. We both lived in Little Neck. My best memories are of our fun birthday adventures. We would go into the city, have lunch at Sardi's and attend a Broadway show. Not bad for babysitting money. She excelled in Math.... I remember her getting 100 on Math Regents. Of course she dated Joe Ball! Her father taught Statistics at St. John's then took a job with the SEC. The family moved to Maryland, and Carol attended Geroge Washington Univ. Her first job was with AMTRAK. After it was complete, she joined the Merchant Marine to see the world (I babysat for her MG). The last I remember, she went to the U of Illinois for a Masters. In the early 70's, I learned through a mutual friend that she had been in a serious automobile accident and passed away in her early 30's.
